This is an exceptional and rare matching set of four antique bent-wood billiard chairs, crafted circa 1910 by the renowned makers Jacob & Josef Kohn. Produced in Czechoslovakia and retailed through their New York location, these chairs represent a significant find for the serious collector; several pieces in this set still retain the original paper maker’s tags affixed beneath the seats.
The set has been meticulously restored to maintain its historical integrity while ensuring longevity. The seats feature new, high-quality chocolate leather hides and fresh loin cloth covers, expertly installed over the well-preserved original horse hair padding.
